    Self-important, over-dramatic, uninspired.

It is encouraging that the film ends so strongly.Otherwise, it wouldn't have been a particularly memorable film

The Backyardigans is a very well done show for toddlers. I am a lot older than the "Target age" and even i enjoy it. It remind's me of when i was young and use to imagine thing's like the character's do. I believe that this show is one of the best for children, and has moment's so undeniably cute that all age's will enjoy it! The music in the story and the dances are down right adorable! My younger sister absolutely love's it and sing's along to the theme song. So I highly recommend that parent's introduce there children to this delight full show.

I don't think there are TOO many good cartoons that are new out there there days, but this is definitely one that proved me wrong. I started watching this when my son was quite little. He didn't even comprehend it at all. Now that he is 16 months he really enjoys it. He also really likes one of the books we have of this cartoon. There is a lot of singing and dancing on this show, and I think that is a big plus in keeping little ones entertained. Plus, it deals with make believe and imaging yourself in another land unlike your own. The characters are unique and colorful.I highly recommend this cartoon to anyone with or without kids! If you like cartoons, this could be one for you to watch!

wow! its about time!!! a show i can watch with my 3 yr old daughter and enjoy! the singing is fantastic! i find myself singing the songs at work and around the house! keep the shows coming!!!! my daughter sings and dances along with every episode, her favorite is tasha, which seems to be everyone's favorite that I've noticed. we even found a cd that has all the songs, and i don't mind listening to them in the car!! this is by far the best kids show since sesame street. its too bad there aren't many more shows like this one. i can recommend this to any parent and any child, this is a must see show, i heard there is a halloween special coming out in a week or so, i suggest everyone pick it up!

My daughter (3 years old) absolutely loves this show. It immediately replaced the old standbys (-dora, blues clues ex) as her favorite show. She loves to get up and try to copy the kids dancing during the songs. It really gets her up and moving. After watching the 'pirate treasure' episode she spent a week pretending she was a pirate! This show knows how to get a child's imagination working! This is a fun, educational, creative and very entertaining show. It really knows how to captivate an audience. The show is entertaining for me too. The songs are great, real musical quality. As a parent, I appreciate a show like this. One that my daughter can enjoy and doesn't drive me crazy!
