It's funny watching the elements come together in this complicated scam. On one hand, the set-up isn't quite as complex as it seems, but there's an easy sense of fun in every exchange.

Clever and entertaining enough to recommend even to members of the 1%

if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.

Probably underrated. This, a fairly decent story of how three women survived sex trafficking and their experience at a "ranch" in Texas.

I don't usually review either, as one reviewer said, but after seeing deb-481-36108's review, I was irate. Deb is obviously not a fan of Judd, probably bringing her sad view of politics into the review of a movie that was timely, forthright and honest, if brutal in it's depiction. This kind of things happens all the time, in every city, in every country. For this movie to be seen, to get a glimpse of one of the many ways it's happening, who knows, it could help stop even one girl from ending up in this tragedy. Judd did a great job, as usual. She's an amazing actress, and all portrayed their characters well. It was gritty, and gave us enough back story to know that these girls had lives waiting for them, cut short because of greed. Please, see this movie. Do not listen to sad people who go after stars for their political beliefs.

This was a great topic to make a film about, and one would think with so many (15!) producers involved, they wouldn't have messed up the production. For starters, you don't hire Siddharth Kara, the author of one book (on the subject matter) with zero film experience to write the screenplay. He should have stayed on as only a producer but only to consult, and hired a professional screenwriter.Next, the directing was sub par... nice camera work but the actors, albeit C-grade, needed better direction so they wouldn't appear as if this was their first high school play. A few of the actors were decent, but I could see the lost potential to make their roles great from the lack of direction from novice director Will Wallace. Again, had a better director come on board, this film would have been great.Overall the story/premise needed to be shown to create awareness, Some parts are brutal, but it does get the message across.Would I see it again? No. Would I recommend it? Maybe to parents with young daughters. It's a 7/10 from me, primarily for the story that needed to be told.

This entire low budget 'important message' flick is nothing more than a feeble attempt by Judd to once again become relevant, by constantly bombarding the viewer with filth talk and naked unattractive and overweight twenty somethings the director tries to pass of as teens. The story line is dull and the NEVER-ENDING BORING TALKING makes you consider jumping out a window! While this big 'comeback' flick for Judd never even made it to video, I feel bad for the investors that were duped into supporting this garbage.Note to self: Ashley Judd, and any movie she is involved with, is total garbage and a waste of time.
