Some things I liked some I did not.

Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

The movie really just wants to entertain people.

This is ultimately a movie about the very bad things that can happen when we don't address our unease, when we just try to brush it off, whether that's to fit in or to preserve our self-image.

As an European viewer, this movie certainly has a few WTF? moments, however overall I loved the storyline, and found it to be quite amusing. The special effects are quite poor in quality, but this just adds character to this old movie.
