Such a frustrating disappointment
... View MoreAdmirable film.
... View MoreIt is an exhilarating, distressing, funny and profound film, with one of the more memorable film scores in years,
... View MoreWhile it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.
... View MoreI personally didn't intend to watch this garbage but as the rating is so high and overrated, I had to waste almost my two and a half hours. The movie was quite interesting till Rani landed in Paris. Then cliché dramas and boring entertainments took place in this movie and the direction of this movie somehow got lost. No story or no plot-line, slow and quite predictive. There were many unnecessary party scenes which might give you headache. Rani, a who reached the critical age of marriage, did not know or was afraid to cross the road in Paris. What the hell was she doing all her life in India? I think the director lost materials to this movie. Why the heck Rani was talking in Hindi to foreigners, I just don't get it. Lisa Hayden aka Vijaylakhsmi(in this movie) just irritated me. The protagonist was told to give a parcel to a prostitute in Amsterdam by Vijaylakshmi when she had her lonely honeymoon, a redundant part of this movie. In Amsterdam she met an Italian cook who was asking what else Rani wanted to eat and then a boring dialogue took place. Oh my God, Don't Italians eat chilies? After that the cook asked her to cook for him for one day to earn a few money, just because he liked the food recipients she told her. So why the hell was he running a restaurant if he hadn't believe in himself in cooking? In the end there were three technical mistakes i noticed but perhaps the readers won't like these. 1st, she called the tall fair guy 'Sikander' unknowing his Russian name yet she mentioned in one of her Facebook posts 'Olexander' which was his correct name. 2nd, the protagonist gave Vijaylakshmi her own dress which is seen in the movie poster but the protagonist was seen in one of her Facebook posts wearing that same dress. 3rd, the protagonist's Facebook account showed us that she had some eighteen friends but the amount of likes her each and every post got were more than the number i wrote.

... View MoreThis maybe the worst movie i've ever seen, only reason i watched it is because of its high rating and i believe a kid can make a better movie this is pure crap IMO.Most reviews here i believe who rated 10/10 are all female for sure.Just imagine a kid trying to make his first "foreign-place movie" who has no idea about the world and cultures and has it all mixed up in his head and this is what you get. Amazingly inaccurate and confusing settings and like only few critics said, dumb story. When the heroin lands in Paris i guess she forgot its a foreign country and start speaking to everyone in Hindi!what rubbish, and how could someone hailed from delhi all of a sudden afraid to cross the street in Paris Oh my God very laughable. If there is an award for worst movie, nothing can compete with this. One of the most ridiculous film I've ever seen how come it got 8/8 rating, looks like looks like the voters were force by aliens to rate it this high.
... View MoreNice movie after a long time in bollywood. I don't really like Kangana Ranaut before this movie. But this movie made me her fan. She really played the role so well from a typical family Indian girl to a confident modern Queen.Nothing in the movie felt bored for me. The songs are very good and placed at nice places. The cinematography is really good. Hats off to the director for making such a movie in bollywood. Even everything done, all credit goes to Kangana Ranaut only. She deserves a National award.I love this movie.
