Best movie of this year hands down!

Good start, but then it gets ruined

I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.

Just intense enough to provide a much-needed diversion, just lightweight enough to make you forget about it soon after it’s over. It’s not exactly “good,” per se, but it does what it sets out to do in terms of putting us on edge, which makes it … successful?

"Perfect Lies" is a very good movie. The plot is about Toby (Brettanya Friese) who is a private detective. She has to deal with sleazy lawyers all day, and she is not very happy about her current employment situation. Toby has a drug problem, which only fuels the fire in terms of her anger about the job. Can she get under from all this depression? The box art for "Perfect Lies" makes it look like an erotic action film. It's not, it's actually a subtle and interesting drama. The acting for the most part is above average. Brettanya Friese is great in her role. For a low budget film it's very slick.In the end: If you expect a erotic thriller, look elsewhere.
