Sadly Over-hyped

One of the best films i have seen

This movie feels like it was made purely to piss off people who want good shows

Great story. Great movie all in all, seeing the effort that was put in to get the dog back was something that is pretty inspiring, the dads speech to her before the time she does start working hard to get it back, I will warn you will want to make you work towards any goals you have! Ha But all in all a rollercoaster of emotions, with a great movie and a great story

This movie is a bland formulaic movie. The acting is bad and the dialogue is terrible. The movie attempts to make you cry with a plot that is so predictable that I could practically predict everything the movie did.

This was a very emotional movie and I feel they did an excellent job with it. War movies are always emotional for me, but the addition of the bond between Megan and Rex made it even more so. Dogs can be such loyal and wonderful animals, they just don't live long enough. It was nice to see Chuck Schumer adopt a good cause for a change. Thanks to Megan and Rex for their service.

Its the biographical story of Megan Leavey ( Kate Mara ) a young Marine corporal who worked in Iraq as a military dog handler and the bond developing between both of them.Megan Leavey want to escape from her troubled life and for that she listed as a US Marine corporal. Due to some circumstance she found interest in dog handling dept. Eventually she got a dog " REX " which is rude and arrogant towards everyone. But somehow a relationship generated between them.They both together found countless mines saving lots of American soldier life , The dog even saved her life in one situation. When she left the marine after three years of service she want to adopt REX since its about to retire after a long service but the medical report says that its not suitable for adoption. She is trying for every possible way to give REX a proper retirement in his home instead of in a Military retirement home without much care that he deserve.
