everything you have heard about this movie is true.

At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.

It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.

a story about 5 brothers. their father was a penghulu (leader of a village). the problem started when their uncles, driven by greed, tried to took over the family's business. to achieve this, the evil uncles send some lurid photos of their mom to their father. Before marrying their father, mom was a carbaret girl. The secret was well kept even their father didn't knew about this. caught by surprised, father had a heart attack and died. they swore to take revenge.
