Highly Overrated But Still Good
... View MoreAbsolutely Fantastic
... View MoreTrue to its essence, the characters remain on the same line and manage to entertain the viewer, each highlighting their own distinctive qualities or touches.
... View MoreThere are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.
... View MoreThe movie is not outstanding. It would be possible to develop a little bit more the dramatic moments of the story - mainly the relationship between Jeanne and Robert or Kat's discovery of her disease. However, the movie is not about that. The movie is an elegy to the memory of Kat - even more because the director of the movie is one of her elder brothers, David Schurmann. And the movie delivers what it promises, since, at the end, a beautiful and touching message reaches the audience. The actors are great - Júlia Lemmertz and Maria Flor are outstanding. The movie also deals with a very difficult topic, but from a child's perspective. All that leads to a very dramatic and touching end.Overall, it is a good movie that tells a very beautiful, yet sadly short story.
