Truly Dreadful Film

Sorry, this movie sucks

I like movies that are aware of what they are selling... without [any] greater aspirations than to make people laugh and that's it.

n my opinion it was a great movie with some interesting elements, even though having some plot holes and the ending probably was just too messy and crammed together, but still fun to watch and not your casual movie that is similar to all other ones.

This is by far the most fun I've ever had watching a cheap Blockbuster porn movie. I watched it with a few of my friends and the sight gags had us rolling. From the guy who walked out of a bar, followed shortly after by a dog walking in, to the hustler trying to sell a hot car to the awesome, now legendary-among-my-friends song that plays on the radio ("I got my PHD...IN LOOOOOVEOLOGY!"), this is one for the ages.

IN THE HEAT OF PASSION is one rare erotic thriller that achieves what it sets out to do, with the help of a gracefully aged Sally Kirkland(imagine Shannon Tweed in five years). Kirkland plays a busty Kirkland plays your typical bored, rich housewife who has dangerous sex with many young men.There are a few twists to the plot, so I won't give away much, except that there is plenty of sex and kinkiness to keep you entertained until the end. Some of the scenes are kind of limp, but the decent production values, and Kirkland's performance, elevate this direct-to-video sleaze to the top of the lot.If you are a jaded erotic thriller fan, this is for you.
