Sadly Over-hyped

A brilliant film that helped define a genre

All that we are seeing on the screen is happening with real people, real action sequences in the background, forcing the eye to watch as if we were there.

This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

Duyung is my favorite film of 2008. Their chemistry between Saiful Apek and Maya Karin was awesome. The underwater scenes look beautiful, the entire village in Sabah look beautiful too. The cinematography looks great as well. This movie is released 10 years ago.
