The movie never stops and nevef wastes time with explanations.Good choreography.It´s always a pleasure to watch Iko Uwais fighting.Nice visual effects .The space ship and the aliens look decent.And the most important: The story does not take place in the USA,like in most scifi movies.Instead it show amazing ancient asian temples.People who love martial arts and sci-fi movies will enjoy this one.

Looking some reviews I was waiting to start the movie and after 10 minutes to do some push-ups. Instead I was extremely surprised about the special effects. And the movie in itself it's not bad at all.... of course not a masterpiece, but I want to give an 8 to improve a bit the rating that is absolutely too low due to 1 given without any sense in some review below. My real evaluation would be a 7

So bad it's good. This normally would have been a terrible movie, but they just kept changing things up in interesting ways that made me like it. Bad movies would have just stuck to the tried and true formula. Here, we end up in Lao. Just because. We have a final kung-fu sequence kicking alien ass. Just because. So bad, it's good.

Terrible music, terrible acting, terrible writing and terrible sequel. Worst movie I've seen start to finish. Total waste of one hour and forty-six minutes.
