... View MoreAll of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
... View MoreExcellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.
... View MoreSeason 1; ok TV plot with not a lot,of brain power..Season 2, full of so many errors, factual, procedural, continuity (in a jungle soaking wet next shot dry). Worth a background watch nothing more..
... View MoreThe British didn't do anything in Afghanistan. The only people I ever had seen outside of the wire were US soldiers and Aussie diggers. I know this is how you lobster backs see yourselves. Not me though.
... View MoreSeries 1, Very well produced, and acted. Somewhat realistic scripting, and more than just a gung-ho action series.Series 2 and 3, Michelle Keegan for too wooden, and far too many cleches. Undoes the good work of series 1
... View MoreIt is a quality series in many ways and I especially enjoyed the first half of this series. I loved the main star Molly and for the first few episodes could not wait for the next week's episode. Then the writer must of gone on holiday and for me the series took a dive down as a Dad's army version of the army took over.Don't read on if you don't want a spoiler. It belied belief that two professional trained soldiers (different sex) in Afghanistan would be having a lovers tiff as they approached a possible IED watched by their men during routine patrol in hostile territory. In case this Dad's Army theme got missed there was then a three way lovers tiff in the middle of a combat operation as the platoon examined a truck potentially full of the enemy.O man!!!
