Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast

Easily the biggest piece of Right wing non sense propaganda I ever saw.

Politician Placido's seizure leaves him unable to keep up the deceits which have built his prosperity but the re-run of NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH or LIAR LIAR gets buried in the stories of the disaffected children who return to take care of him. The piece shifts into a criticism of Italian morality, pointed by the TV show commentator reading the Italian constitution.Lively, clever film making, winning cast of beautiful people set against grotesques and the hint that the piece is actually saying something about Berlesconi's Italy, all make this superior viewing.A welcome companion to THE CAIMAN.
