Lack of good storyline.

It's fun, it's light, [but] it has a hard time when its tries to get heavy.

I am only giving this movie a 1 for the great cast, though I can't imagine what any of them were thinking. This movie was horrible

This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.

OK, so maybe its not a 7 but, a 7.5 rating. To be honest I decided to see this movie because my wife had a very similar life to that of ¨Ema¨. Growing up with her grandma, not getting along with her mother, spending 95 percent of her time at grandmas house etc etc...Until grandmas death. I have to say that I shared the last 3 years of which only maybe the last 2 months before her death it was a nightmare for us.Although the storyline and film set was pretty well done I have to say, their was something magical, something else needed to really touch my feelings and really believe that bond between Ema and Abu. I felt that the movie jumped very quickly from Ema been a little girl and then been an adult with her boyfriend, and not much was told of their relationship (Ema /Abu) in between. Other than that this is is great but, I felt their was a lack of details for the main characters that were needed in order to feel that 'Click' at the end of the movie.
