While it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.

I saw the Hindi dubbed version of the film out of curiosity with all the hype surrounding it. And u loved it! This film's brilliance can be mainly attributed to its creative storyline and fabulous visuals. Makkhi is thoroughly defined in its physical features, and the micro art aspect is well thought out. The story is that of typical rebirth with a mega twist. One that seems incredible, but is fabulously presented with heart warming sentiments. I liked the villain who looked perfectly lecherous, and harassed in the latter half. The heroine could have acted better though. The love story is sweet, and the fact that the movie never gets too depressing is the one I appreciate. It maintains a healthy balance of emotion and fun. This outlandish piece of work is a must watch. Kudos to the courage of the director!

Makhhi or eega is a movie which is absolutely weird and non sense but wait......this movie is a official non sense movie. I am sure the director made it and announced "hey folks this film is non sense...see if you like it or not but i have tried to make it entertaining".So this non sense movie is absolutely a rich experience. Its fresh beautiful and artistic. Unexpectedly this is first movie from south that i loved. Amazing story though nothing new but along with 'arey arey' soundtrack this film is just a refreshing experience. Don't know if they like it or not but i just loved this senselessness. Animation is unforgettable even though it has no match with modern animation movies. In all i loved this movie and congratulate director and crew for this try.

Its a classy movie. An amazing Fantasy. Re-birth into a fly. I did not wanted to watch this movie. But accidentally got pulled in to theater by friend. And i thanked him later for that. I watched Telugu version the language i understand little but this one is a visual movie, one which any body can enjoy even not knowing the language. The fly is so true to life, thanks to SFX but i know that's possible as i am in same field. But the way i forget that its a CG thing and start crying and getting angry and happy for the fly. Wooh that the directors wonderful job. Its a total entertainer. And any body would love this movie 10 year old to 100 year ones. Its best movie not just because its using SFX fly but it fairs in all aspects. Stop reading and watch the movie, you will know it all and more.

This is a wild idea converted into a wonderful fantasy. Hard to believe it's an Indian work of cinematic art. If same movie would have been made my Pixar, it might have received the best Oscar for live animation and I am not talking about animation technology here, I am talking about the character development of Makkhi which at the end feels like a superhero. The idea is a winner but the screenplay is so rich in imagination that it makes you believe whatever happens on screen. At one time when 'tantrik' came into the picture, I thought they are going to ruin the fun as usually happens with bollywood fictions but I am glad I was wrong. Hats off to the director and his team.
