Excellent but underrated film

disgusting, overrated, pointless

n my opinion it was a great movie with some interesting elements, even though having some plot holes and the ending probably was just too messy and crammed together, but still fun to watch and not your casual movie that is similar to all other ones.

It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

The thing that makes a mystery movie work is the misdirection. Who dunit is never who you think dunit. But the movie can't set up an unlikely villain, or villains in this case by in effect blatantly throwing the audience in the wrong direction with scenes that show the killer(s) can't be the killer(s). I did not buy the ending or who dunit for a second, and that ruined the film for me. The writer, and director need to be smarter in their misdirection. In this film they failed.

Honestly this was the worst movie I ever ever seen. The story doesn't make any sense. A couple scared of killers all the time, and then it comes - they are the killers themselves. It doesn't make any sense and I still can't believe that such a story ended as a movie.

Spoiler warning.... This is an absolute waste of time...Script writer tries to fool the audience from the beginning to the ending of the film. At the end of the movie,Cydney,one of the murderers,was not arrested.The other stupid couple who survived from being killed even did not report the police that Cydney was also a murderer...As if she was not the one of the murderers...What?....What the hell is that?...

I must say that in my 37 years, I haven't seen anything worse and more naive than this movie. Th4e story is unbelievably naive and it doesn't follow up through out the movie. Usually surprises are OK for thriller movies, but this one doesn't make any sense. It is still unbelievable that the movie was rated quite high, with 6,5 this wouldn't be even close to the rating that it deserves. The only thing that is worth seeing is a beautiful Hawaii landscape. The actors did not really give their best, it was more like a third class acting and I hope that people that were responsible for this movie are not in a movie making business any more.
