Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.

Solomon Northup, a free black man from upstate New York, is abducted and sold into slavery. Facing cruelty personified by a malevolent slave owner, as well as unexpected kindnesses, Solomon struggles not only to stay alive, but to retain his dignity. In the twelfth year of his unforgettable odyssey, Solomon's chance meeting with a Canadian abolitionist will forever alter his life. 12 Years of Slave is such a heartbreaking, cruel and just amazing film that elevates from it's excellent direction but also terrific perfomances from talented actors on delivering their evil side. And it's one of those movies where no other film having a story like this could ever get just as close as this. Definitely deserved the wins and nominations it got. (A+)

This is the story of a black men who suffered a lor, and I mean a lot during slavery, The saddest part is that thousands went through this, discrimination divide nations, we all deserve respect. Its a heartbreaking picture, but if you don't know the past you won't fix the future.

Awesome.....will have you speechless, def a movie you will remember
